aboutus-pPIERCE RUSSELL
Pierce Russell began his career as a Canine Behaviorist while proudly serving in The United States Army as a “Sentry Dog Handler” in South Korea.  After his Military Career, Pierce worked for Jack Crowley, at Netherlair Kennels, learning and perfecting Canine Obedience Training.  At this time he also provided special purpose canine Drug Enforcement Training (Drug Sniffing and Perpetrator Tracking) for The Massachusetts State Police.  It was this specialty training that led him to work for K-9 protective services where he trained handlers as well as dogs for private security.

Since 1995 Pierce has worked with the Arizona Siberian Husky Rescue and Adoption rehabilitating rescued dogs, as well as other rescues and shelters.  He also spends two weeks each summer in Crested Butte Colorado working with the town and veterinarians to help ease the unruly dog problem.

He continues to work with people and their canine companions from all walks of life in the metro Phoenix area.  He firmly believes each dog and owner has their own learning curve and as a result, does as many one-on-one sessions as possible, avoiding group training like the plague!  He loves starting first time owners and their puppies on the right path to success but also gets pleasure from working with rescues and dogs with behavioral problems.
